Event Professionals

Members of the event industry find representation in the Event Planners Association. Our professional event planners and professional meeting planners members include professionals from nearly every aspect of the industry; from event, wedding and corporate planners to caterers, DJ’s, sound and lighting experts, florists, entertainers and photographers. Event educators, students, venues and suppliers all have a place in the EPA as well.


The Event Planners Association has created a unique support system for professional event planners and professional meeting planners by providing the foundation for a successful business, which encompasses education, certification, networking, legal assistance, insurance, internet marketing and regulatory support, while maintaining and facilitating the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.



What the EPA Support System Does for Members

Expanding Your Customer Base


Finding new customers remains a key objective for small professional event planners business owners. The EPA is developing networking, educational and promotional opportunities for members to assist in this area.

The EPA is also allocating its resources toward public education. We are helping the public understand the value in hiring professional event planners and professional meeting planners to counter the DIY mentality. With the vast majority of members utilizing proper risk management tools, we want the public to know they can hire an EPA member with confidence!
