EPA Amusement Operators Safety Certification (EPA AOSC) Nets Owners/Operators with Increased Consumer Confidence While Reducing Risk and Lowering Insurance Premiums
 
Orlando, Florida – IAAPA 2011, Booth #4774 – November 14, 2011 – Event Planners Association (EPA), (www.EventPlannersAssociation.com), the leading association for the amusement rental industry, announced today a new, safety certification program designed for owners and operators of inflatables and amusement rides – available now only through the Event Planners Association.

The program builds safety awareness with the intention of lowering the potential for injuries. The EPA Amusement Operators Safety Certification program is a simple-to- use, easy-to-implement DVD/online-based training and testing program.
 
The EPA AOSC program includes 8-different DVD modules. Each video addresses a specific safety training area making the program completely customizable to the operation. It allows owners and operators to select the appropriate training modules pertinent to their specific business.
 
The certification process culminates with a short online test. This test helps to confirm that the owner/operator understands the established safety procedures. Owners/operators who pass the test are awarded the EPA Safety Certification logo. This logo can be used on their marketing materials and the EPA AOSC Seal can be prominently placed on their website. Additionally, certificates are sent to insurance carriers requiring proof of successful completion to qualify for premium discounts.
